About France
France possesses a large variety of landscapes, with coastal plains on the North Sea, Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, flat plains with field of sunflowers, gently rolling hills and the Massif Central in the centre, the Vosges mountains in the north-east, the Pyrenees in south, and Alps in east with its famous Mont Blanc at 4810 m as the highest point in Western Europe. In between are the extensive river basins of the Loire River, the Rhone River, the Garonne and Seine.
France offers a rich diversity in cultural heritage where old and new meet, from cave paintings, castles, cathedrals, the riches of the ancient regime in Versailles to the modern architecture of Paris business district. A visit to Paris is not without danger to fall in love with its lifestyles, beauty and elegance. The banks of the Seine, the sidewalk cafés, the Eiffel Tower, the glittering Champs Elysées, the Sacré Coeur, the Louvre, the Centre Pompidou, all these are just too much to see in one visit.
