Jamaica is rich in culture which created Reggae music with Bob Marley as its most-famous ambassador, and the Rastafarian religion with its back to Africa movement.

Travel tips
local currency is cheaper
Almost every tourist in Jamaica pays with American Dollars, if your in the position to get Jamaican dollars from an ATM instead, and don't bother tot convert currency. You will probably end up a lot cheaper. Unless your all-inclusive off course, don't be cheap to the nice and hard working Jamaicans in your resort, give them US Dollars and receive a big smile and a faster and stronger free drink ;)

Nine mile
If you are visiting Nine Mile and the Bob Marley Mausoleum by your self. prepare for hustlers who want a tip for watching/washing your car. Beter have some change in your pocket and don't get out your wallet
