About Cameroon
Cameroon has a diverse landscape made up of tropical forested area's, vast savanna plains and forested mountains. It has volcanic activity with for instance periodic releases of poisonous gases from Lake Nyos and Lake Monoun. Mount Cameroon at 4,069 m, near the coast, is the highest mountain in the country. The Kumbo Highlands belong to the most interesting landscapes of the country.
