About Central African Republic
The Central African Republic consists of vast plateau with scattered hills in northeast and southwest and is covered by rainforests with some of the highest densities of lowland gorillas and forest elefants in Africa. The unspoilt wilderness was traditionally a favorate hunting destination and today is becoming more and more attractive as a ecotourist destination, with interesting national parks such as in the southwest, the Dzanga-Sangha National Park, in the north the Saint Florist National Park and in the northeast the Bamingui-Bangoran National Park, with excellent wildlife, including leopards, lions, and rhinos.
