About Djibouti
Djibouti occupies a very strategic geographic location at the mouth of the Red Sea and serves as an important transshipment location for goods entering and leaving the east African highlands. It is a strategic location near the world's busiest shipping lanes and close to Arabian oilfields. The country has mountains in the center of the country with Moussa Ali (2,028 m) as the highest point. Djibouti is a dry land with no forests.
