Addis Ababa is the capital of Ethiopia. The metropolis is located in the geographic center of the country and stretches from 1800 to 3200 m above sea level. With more than 90 embassies and consular representatives Addis Ababa is the fourth diplomatic center in the world and home of the headquarters of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the Africa Union (AU).
