About Accra
Accra is the capital of Ghana. The city stretches along the Atlantic Coast and was originally built around the port. Accra has a combination of colonial and traditional African buildings and modern skyscrapers. The city has many hotels, excellent restaurants and night clubs. However most people still live in the crowded and poor shanty towns around the edges of the city and near the port.
