About Malawi
Malawi is a small landlocked country with a variety of landscapes of wetlands and lakes, 3000m high mountains and lush forests. The countries main destination however is the 600 km long and 700 m deep Lake Malawi with its crystal clear waters surrounded by mountains. It offers great scuba diving and snorkeling opportunities, water sports, nature walks and drives and visits to local villages. The national parks and game reserves of Malawi like Nyika National Park, are home to many to large herds of zebra, eland, antelope, lichtenstein's hartebeest, kudu reedbuck, bushbuck, duiker, and warthog. At night wild animals like leopard, hyena, jackal, civet cat, honey badger, porcupine and aardvark take charge.
