About Niger
Niger predominately consists of desert plains and sand dunes with flat to rolling plains in south and the volcanic Air Massif in the north. It is one of the hottest countries in the world. The country is home to some of the historical Arab/Touareg/African trading centers in the Sahara like Agadez that still is major end-point for caravans.
