About Seychelles
The Seychelles are an archipelago in the Indian Ocean, northeast of Madagascar, with 41 granitic and about 75 coralline islands and atolls, of which 33 are inhabited. Mahe which is the largest island, is home to about 80% of the total population. Aldabra is the largest atoll in the world and is a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site. Praslin, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the second-largest island and famous for the Vallée de Mai with its coco-de-mer palm.
The capital city is Victoria on Mahé, with the beautiful Ste Anne Marine National Park nearby.
