About Graskop
Graskop and environment, is the gateway to the Blyde River Canyon, Panorama route and the Kruger National Park. Graskop itself is a small town,set up in the 1880s as a gold mining camp.The area is the water catchment for the whole Eastern part of South Africa, it is defined by a mild climate, high waterfalls and wonderful views of the Eastern Drakensberg Escarpment. The main industry in Graskop is tourism and forestry. It is a great destination to use, for day tours into the Kruger National Park as it is a malaria free area.
