Dodoma

About Dodoma

Dodoma is the capital of the Tanzania and the seat of government, but much smaller and less developed than the country’s commercial centre Dar es Salaam. It is located in the centre of Tanzania on the eastern edge of the southern highlands at 1100m altitude, on the  historical overland caravan route that travelled from the Swahili Coast inland toward Lake Tanganyika. For the rest not much more can be said about  Dodoma and the town does not qualify as much of a destination that is worth while your visit.
