About Tunis
Tunis is the capital and administrative centre of the Tunesia, situated in the northeast of the country, at the end of Lake of Tunis, and close to the Mediterranean Sea. Tunis is divided into three parts, the old city or medina; the French part with the colonial houses, which now is the centre; and the newer regions in the south and the north of the city that begin just after the French Gate.
