About Dhaka

Dhaka is the capital and largest city of Bangladesh. It is located in the great delta of the Ganges and Brahmaputra rivers. Dhaka was founded during the 10th century and has more than 700 mosques and historic buildings found throughout the city. Today Dhaka has  an old city and the new city that has experienced a very rapid urban growth with numerous slums and unplanned areas.
