About Cambodia
Cambodia is the successor state of the mighty Kmer Empire that ruled the Indochinese Peninsula between the 11th and 14th centuries, with Angkor as the royal city. Today travellers can enjoy the cities rich heritage with a collection of over one hundred temples dating back to the ninth century. The complex is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
