About Bijapur
Bijapur city is well known for its 10th-11th century Vijayapura heritage and of great historical importance. The town is located 530 km northwest of Bangalore in the state of Karnataka and is known for its famous citadel, built by Yusuf Adil Shah. Within the citadel are pre-Islam Hindu temples.
