About Tokyo
Tokyo (東京) is the capital of Japan and home to the Japanese government and emperor and with about 10 percent of the country's population living there, an incredibly active city. There are many things to do and places to see in this city, so many that you cannot possibly see all of them in a single week. Not only is Tokyo the high tech city of the world, it also has many beautiful parks, good museums and intriguing temples. Tokyo is probably the biggest city in the world and is divided into four parts; central Tokyo, downtown, the suburbs and western Tokyo. Each of the 23 ku’s (ward-cities), have their own special attractions.
