About Macau

Today Macau is a peninsula as a result of land reclamation in the 17th century, and is the most densely populated urban centre in the world. The former Portugese colony still has some historical relics, but Macau is generally known for its casinoes that attract many thousands of vistors each year, mainly from China and Hong Kong.
