About Maldives
The Maldives is made up of a chain of islands south west of Sri Lanka. The islands hold the record of being the flattest country in the world. They are a tropical paradise with sandy beaches festooned with palm trees, and coral reefs that are favoured by scuba divers because of their abundant marine life.
