Myanmar is a mostly forested country located between Bangladesh, India, China and Thailand, with a long coastline on the Bay of Bangal and the Andaman Sea with mountains along its borders of India, China and in the west, surrounding the central delta of the river Ayeyarwady. It is a fascinating country with unspoilt nature and many beautifull Buddhist temples.
Yangon (formerly Rangoon) is the capital of Myanmar, a populous city with over 4,504,000 people, yet still relatively undeveloped compared to other Asian cities. One of the most beautifull sites in Yangon is the famous Shwedagon Pagoda, a place of Buddhist worship built over two and a half thousand years ago.
