About 85 percent of South Koreans live in urban areas, with 10 million people living in the capital Seoul alone. Seoulis a dynamic city with ancient temples besides soaring skyscrapers and a vibrant nightlife.
Popular tourist destinations include Seorak-san national park, the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom Gyeonqju full of archiological treasures, and the semi-tropical Jeju island with its volcanic landscape, watefalls and sandy beaches.
