About Managua
Managua is the capital and largest city of Nicaragua, on the southern shore of Lake Managua. It is the commercial and industrial center of the country. Managua has constantly been battered by death and destruction of earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, landslides and fires. The old city centre is still not restored and like most of Nicaragua, Managua today still has not much to offer as far as architecture and tourist attractions.
