The Turks and Caicos Islands are an archipelago of more than 30 islands southeast of the Bahamas. They are an overseas territory of the United Kingdom and with numerous national parks, extensive marshes, mangrove swamps and beautiful white-sand beaches, they have become an ideal escape with some excellent snorkelling, deep-sea fishing and deserted cays.
