Charlotte Amalie is the capitol of the US Virgin Islands. Located at the south of St. Thomas island, with a pretty waterfront, the town is a popular tourist destination with many historical sights.

  • Nearest airport: Cyril E King Airport-located on the southwestern side of St. Thomas

  • Car: The 314 highway runs through Charlotte Amalie in the south, and eventually advances (toward the west) to the 30. The 35 and 38 also run near Charlotte Amalie in the east, the 38 leading southeast near Paradise Point and the 35 heading north eventually evolving to the 37
