About Nicosia
Nicosia is the thousand year old capital of Cyprus and the largest city of the country. Located on the Pedieos river, almost in the center of the island, it constitutes the administrative, commercial and cultural center of Cyprus. The center of the Nicosia is enclosed by 16th century Venetian Walls where you will find many museums, Byzantine churches, medieval buildings and narrow streets.
