About St Peter Port
St Peter Port is Guernsey's main town and a very historic town with a distinct 17th century charm. It is located in a steep valley leading down to the harbor, and has some spectacular views across to Alderney and the other islands.This is the place where Victor Hugo, exiled from France, wrote Les Miserables.

- Les Fouaillages L'Ancresse, Vale-this Neolithic burial chamber dates back to 4,500 BC making it one of the oldest structures in Europe
- St Apolline's Chapel in St Saviour-the first designated ancient historic monument on Guernsey
- Take the catamaran ferry to Herm Island-a small islands: just a mile and a half long and half a mile wide, a quiet place and from here you can also visit the Island of Sark (20 minutes journey)
