About Saint Helier
St. Helier is one of the twelve Parishes of Jersey, and is the seat of government for the Island. The town is definitely British but with a distinct French and Portugese influences, with many streets carrying old French titles. The paved town centre has many stores, shops, restaurants and cafés. The harbour and marina are always full of activity.
