About Maastricht
Maastricht is the capital of the province of Limburg in the south of the Netherlands, located on the beautiful river Maas at the point where it enters the Netherlands. This historic Dutch city with its narrow cobblestone streets, ancient fortifications and 17th century town houses, is not only known for its architecture but more so for its excellent arts scene with many museums and world-class galleries.
