About Poznan
Poznan is the capital of the Greater Poland Voivodeship and located in the west-central part of Poland on the Warta River. It is one of the oldest cities in Poland, with a rich cultural heritage and many monuments concentrated in one of the three main points of interest of the cities: the island of Ostrów Tumski or Cathedral Island, the Old Town and the Centre.

- Enjoy the Old Market square with its historic Town Hall, the merchant houses and many bars, restaurants and beer gardens in the square
Explore the rich cultural heritage of Poznan, such as
- The Town Hall-the Renaissance style monument designed by the Italian architect Giovanni Batista Quadro of Lugano, with its colonnaded three-storey loggia, the turrets and clock with a small ledge where every day at noon a pair of goats appears. Its Great Hall has one of the most beautiful Renaissance interiors in Poland with the coat of arms of Poznań in the ceiling.
- The archdiocese basilica of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul dates back to 968 and is the city's oldest historical monument.
- The Parish Church built by Jesuits, is one of the most exquisite examples of Baroque architecture in Poland with an extremely rich interior. The high altar was designed by Pompeo Ferrari and the 2579 pipes organ was made in 1876 by the famous Friedrich Ladegast of Weissenfelds.
