- Timezone: UTC +1
- Weather: Madrid is a dry city with rare rain. High heat levels in the summer are often not as oppressive due to the low humidity. In winter Madrid is cold with occasional snow and in general a good time to visit the city with off-season rates. Spring from mid March through May, is one of the most pleasant times to visit Madrid, with long generally warm days and cool nights. Madrid's summer is pleasantly hot except in July and August when it really gets very hot with temperatures over 40 degrees Celsius. At night unfortunately it does not really cool down and as a result locals pour out of the city en-masse. Finally autumn from September through November again is an excellent time to vist with very pleasant temperatures.
