About Turkey
Turkey bridges the European and Asian continents with two impressive bridges across the Bosphorus at its biggest city Istanbul. Turkey has a long Mediterranean coastline with beautfull beaches, secluded coves and rock formations, that offers some of the best beach destinations in the world. More challenging and for the adventurous travellers are the natural beauties of the high central Anatolian plateau, and in the east the mountainous Armenian Highland with Mount Ararat as Turkey's highest point at 5.166m.
Ankara is the capital of Turkye and is located centrally in the hart of Anatolia with its famous Anatolian culture. Istanbul however is Turkye's main city destination, with its many and beautifull mosques, Byzantine churches and Roman temples. More land inward lie the old Roman-Greaco cities such as Ephesus with their rich cultural heritage.
