About Jordan

Jordan is a relatively small country that consists mostly of desert plateau in the east and populated highlands in the west, with the Great Rift Valley of the Jordan River separating Jordan and Israel. With the Dead Sea 392m below sea level as the lowest point on earth, magnificent rock formations of Wadi Rum, the hidden 'pink' city of Petra carved out of rock, the capital Amman built on seven hills with plenty of historical sites from ancient civilisation,  breathtaking desert-scapes and luxury city hotels, Jordan offers tourists many interesting sites.
