About Lebanon

Lebanon consists of narrow coastal plains, with the Bekaa Valley separating Lebanon and Anti-Lebanon Mountains.

Lebanon has been a major crossroads of civilizations for millennia, and today possesses an extraordinarily rich and vibrant culture with a wide array of ethnic and religious groups.

One of the most interesting destinations is Baalbek a town in the Bekaa valley. It is famous for its temple ruins of the Roman period, when Baalbek was known as Heliopolis, one of the largest sanctuaries in the Empire.
