About Sanaa
Sanaa is the capital of Yemen. It lies in the heart of Yemeni highlands on a plateau at an altitude of 2200m, dominated by the 3237 m high Djebel Nuqum. The old city with fortified clay walls, over 100 mosques, several hammams (public baths) and decorated houses with friezes and white gypsum, is a United Nations World Heritage City and an Islamic cultural center.
