Weather: Winter: Typical for Ottawa is a lot of snow and ice, 950 cm of precipitation annually; to be more precise, 250cm of which falls in the winter. Sometimes the snow even stays until early April, and ice storms are no stranger to Ottawa either. The temperatures are well below zero with -12ºC during the day and sometimes -30ºC at night. Summer: The Temperatures in July are usually between 17ºC and 32ºC. When the temperature starts to rise so does the humidity, but this period (warm summer months) does not last long.
