About United States
As one of the world's largest countries by total area, the United States landscape varies greatly with temperate forestland and rolling hills on the East coast, mangrove in Florida the Great Plains in the center of the country, the Mississipi-Missouri river system, the Great Lakes at the border of Canada, the Rocky Mountains, deserts, Alaska's tundra and the volcanic islands of Hawaii.
As such the USA is a huge country to explore, covering 50 states with subtropical attractions, winter ski resorts like Aspen and spectacular National Parks like Yosemite and the Everglades, the Great Lakes and the desert plains and awesome sights as the Grand Canyon and the Rocky Mountains.
The United States has dozens of major cities such as New York-the city that does not sleep, Los Angeles-the city of angels, Las Vegas-the entertainment capital of the world, and Chicago with its famous ride on the loop train.
