About Connecticut
Connecticut is a small state in the north-eastern United States. The Connecticut River cuts through the centre of the state, flowing into Long Island Sound, Connecticut's outlet to the Atlantic Ocean. Its wealthy Fairfield County's are known as the "Gold Coast with cities like Greenwich, Stamford, New Canaan, and Darien housing some of the wealthiest residents in the world. In contrast the rural areas and small towns in the northeast and northwest are known by its "green" townships.

Getting Around

- If not try some of the Connecticut scenic byways
- Connecticut State Route 169-this byway takes you through historic times with colonial villages and early American communities
- Merritt Parkway-enjoy the brilliant foliage and scenery especially during the autumn with its beautiful colours
