About Kansas

Kansas is mostly part of the Great Plains and a state where you can still experience and enjoy the beauty of one of the four remaining untouched tallgrass prairies left in the world. Kansas today is a leading wheat-growing state, offering numerous opportunities for agri-tourism with your own country living experience at an operating ranch, grape harvesting at a vineyards, rodeo shows or county fairs. Alternatively the 24 state parks across Kansas offer primitive camping facilities with access to wildlife areas and trails for hiking, biking or horseback riding. Many parks host annual events such as concerts, festivals, and competitions.
