About Rhode Island
Rhode Island is a small state in the north-eastern United States covering an area of approximately 4,000 sq.km. It is the smallest of the 50 states, densely populated and highly industrialized. Rhode Island lies on the Atlantic Ocean with the Narragansett Bay as the major feature of the state's topography with over 30 islands. The largest is Aquidneck Island, other islands are Hope, Prudence, and Despair.
