About Boise

Boise is the capital and largest city of Idaho and is located along the scenic Boise River at the junction of the arid plateau of the high desert and the western foothills of the Rocky Mountains. This mining and farming town offers great outdoor adventures such as hiking, white water rafting on the Payette River and skiing at Bogus Basin Ski Resort. The city has the largest Basque community in the United States with a vibrant downtown Basque section.
