About Brisbane

Brisbane is the state capital of Queensland and one of Australia's fastest growing cities. The city is located close to the Pacific Ocean on the Brisbane River between Moreton Bay and the Great Dividing Range in south-eastern Queensland. The greater Brisbane region lies on the low lying coastal plain with several creeks finding its way through the city. Brisbane is an excellent starting point to discover Australia’s Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast

  • Train: Direct connections to Sydney. Queensland Rail services to most cities in Queensland.
  • Car: the 1700 km Bruce Highway takes you to  most cities on the Queensland coast
