About Coral Sea Islands Territory

Coral Sea Islands are an uninhabited group of small islands and reefs in the Coral Sea, northeast of Australia, scattered over 780.000 sq km of ocean. There are about 30 separate reefs and atolls with many islets and cays, some of which only get dry during low tide. The Willis Islets are an important nesting area for birds and turtles.

  • There is no port or harbour, only offshore anchorage
