About Fiji Islands
The Fiji Islands consist of more than 800 volcanic and coral islands, with two sizable islands, Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, where the majority of inhabitants live, with mountainous peaks up to 1200 m and covered with tropical forests. Together the Fiji islands are a true exotic tropical paradise in the South Pacific, with palm-fringed beaches and scenic pools with waterfalls and overhanging orchids. The islands are particularly suited for snorkeling, scuba diving or surfing for instance on the huge cloud breakers' off Tavarua.
