The Marshall islands consist of two chains of more then 1000 islets and coral deposits of submerged volcanoes, just north of the equator. Most of the nation's population lives in its capital Majuro. The Marshalls today are a premiere destination for divers, snorklers and those enjoying often breathtaking marine life.
