About Northern Mariana Islands
The Northern Mariana Islands consists of 14 islands with many beautiful bays, cliffs, caves and mountains. The northern islands are volcanic, with still active volcanoes on Anathan, Pgan and Agrihan, that continue to erupt periodically. The islands have a free trade agreement with the United States and have a well developed infrastructure for tourism particularly for diving, which has become the main source of income especially from Japanese tourists.
