About Sucre

Sucre is capitol of Bolivia. It was founded by the Spanish in the first half of the 16th century and is also known as the City of Four Names (La Plata, Charcas, Ciudad Blanca (White City), and Sucre). The historic city of Sucre is a "World Heritage Site" in recognition for its rich history and its wealth of colonial architecture. The older sections with the white colonial buildings are very nice to explore by foot.
