About Cuba
The island of Cuba is the largest of the Greater Antilles and offers some of the world's finest beaches. Next to its sandy, palm-fringed shores with crystal-clear waters, it consists of flat to rolling plains, with more rugged hills and mountains primarily in the southeast. The highest point is the Pico Real del Turquino at 2,005 m.
Havana is the largest city and capital and one of the most lively and colourful cities in the Caribbean. The historic old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with superb colonial architecture and 1950s Chevy's still humming. Another very popular destination is the well-known town of Trinidad also one of Unesco's World Heritage sites.
