What is the UTC time table and how does it work?
UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) is a system of time notation using 24-hours. It divides the world into different time zone’s. UTC is based on Greenwich mean time (GMT) with Greenwich on the zero meridian.
From here the time is stipulated in
- - refers to the previous day
- + it already entered the day
Example:
When you live in Thailand, (UTC +7), and you are travelling to Peru (UTC -5) there is a time difference of 13 hours back in time.
You can find the precise UTC time on every EnjoyYourWorld destination page
Remember there are different summer- and winter times depending on the country and time you travel. These are not reflected in the standard EnjoyYourWorld destination descriptions.
